We are happy to introduce you and your student to the Student Center’s freshmen transition program, “Sun-sation”. Sun-sation is a four day program allowing incoming freshmen to meet other new students, become familiar with the school, our staff and generally have fun.
The program will run for four days (July 9th-July 12th) with two different sessions. Session 1 will run from 9 am to 12 pm. Session 2 will run from 1 pm to 4 pm. Both sessions are identical in programming and you must choose either the morning or the afternoon. The program is free and includes a light snack and drinks. There is NO transportation to or from the school and NO nursing will be on site. Students must be picked up PROMPTLY at 12 pm or 4 pm based on your session choice. Tardiness will result in dismissal from the rest of the program. We do not have staff available after those hours to supervise your child.
Students will have the opportunity to use the recreational facilities. The student center houses two pool tables, foosball, shuffleboard, videogames, iPads, board games and more! Our outdoor area includes a beach volleyball court, tetherball, softball (or kickball) field, and other outdoor games such as Kanjam, cornhole, street hockey, soccer, football, 4 way tug of war, and so much more!
If you would like your child to participate, please complete and send back the enclosed permission slip by May 25th, 2018. We look forward to hearing from you and meeting your child! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Sanjula Ranasinghe at 973-383-6700 X 331 or email@example.com between 8AM-12:00 PM.
