Sussex Tech Ski and Snowboard Club
Mrs. Lynch - Advisor - klynch@sussextech.org 973-383-6700 X525
The Ski & Snowboard Club is an opportunity for students to ski and snowboard with fellow classmates during the winter season at Mountain Creek. Students are offered free lessons on Ski Club days.
The Ski & Snowboard Club is scheduled for 5 trips to Mountain Creek and meets after school. The Ski Club advisor remains at the lodge until 7:30 PM on trip days. The club also volunteers as escorts and helpers for the NJ Special Olympics. Students receive community service hours for this as well.
The goal of the Ski and Snowboard Club is to allow students with common interests to enjoy the chance to ski and snowboard together and to encourage non-skiers and snowboarders to try the sport.
Students purchase a discounted pass using a link provided for our school. Students may purchase a season pass or a 5-trip pass from October through November 30th.
The price for the season pass and the 5-trip pass is determined by Mountain Creek. (Usually the price is known by October 1)
The club maintains a Google Classroom for announcements and a REMIND app for contacting one another and the advisor while at Mountain Creek.
