    Description of the club and purpose: Mission Statement 

    The Student Council plays an important role at Sussex County Technical School. Student Council is designed to help make individuals leaders, creative thinkers, and problem solvers. Each member of the Student Council learns the value of helping their school community. Our students work together to raise funds for school-wide projects, our local community, and major organizations. Our mission as advisors is to help guide our student leaders in successfully planning events, making decisions and thriving in their leadership roles.

    Meeting dates and times:
    2 Meetings a Month. Dates and times vary depending on the seasons. Meetings take place after school, starting at 2:30 and ending around 5:00. Students' departure time can also depend on parent pick-up situations.
    Meetings, Dates and Times will be posted on Google Classroom, the morning announcements, and the bulletin boards.

    How to become a member:
    New members are always welcome. To become an active member, please join the Google Classroom and begin attending meetings. At each meeting, there will be a sign in sheet. Attendance is logged after each meeting. 

    Requirement to remain a member:
    In order to be considered an active member, you must attend meetings, participate in committees, and events.
