Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering Technology is a multidisciplinary field, integrating elements of mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, systems design, and control engineering. This program provides a comprehensive foundation for understanding and shaping the technological landscape. As industries increasingly favor a computerized, automated, and systems-level approach, the demand for professionals with an understanding of multiple subfields of engineering systems will only rise, making Robotics and Mechatronics engineers indispensable.
 
Eligible students earn college credits and/or industry valued credential(s): Soldering, NC3 PCL, NC3 Dremel 3D Print, FESTO Intro to Mechatronics certifications, and more! Students also earn college credits.
 

What You Will Learn

Students are instructed on proper instrumentation and measurement, electronic circuits mechanical terminology, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, computer and control systems.
 

Career Pathways

Robotics and Mechatronics engineering technologists use a combination of mechanical, electronic, computer and software skills to work with smart technologies, such as robots, automated guided systems and computer-integrated manufacturing equipment. Students will be prepared to go on to a college or university and/or enter directly into industry.
