The Senior year expenses for the graduating class of 2017 were almost $1,700! (Cap and Gown- $26; Yearbook $90; Single Prom Bid- $100; Class Trip WITHOUT spending money- $1450) Although several students completely covered the cost of their expenses through their fundraising efforts, many did not. And because of the high price of the Senior class trip, the attendance rate over the past few years has been minimal.
We are trying to change that!!
We are pleased to offer you a savings option towards your child’s Senior year expenses. Starting today, if you wish to participate, we will accept any amount of money you wish to put away towards your child’s Senior year expenses. You may make weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, etc., payments that we will keep on account for your child. These deposits will be for your child only, not credited to the share system. You may start deposits today, next month, next year, or even Junior or Senior year. It is completely up to you when and how much you wish to save for 2021.
For example…If you start now, and deposit $25 per month for the next three and a half school years (42 months), you will have saved over $1,000, more than half of the projected expenses.
Any money deposited will be held by the school in a non-interest bearing account and will be happily refunded, minus any class trip installments previously paid, if your child chooses not to attend the trip.
