Gifted and Talented Appeals

 
Parents may petition their child’s Gifted and Talented placement by appealing their case to the district’s Gifted and Talented Coordinator.

To appeal, parents must provide and attend:
  • A parent created cover letter explaining their appeal
  • Complete the appeal form using the link below. 
  • Contact and arrange an appeal meeting with the Gifted and Talented Coordinator.

New students to the district will be evaluated using the information according to the appeals process. Any additional testing required will be administered with parental permission when available.
Upon determination of the appeal a letter will be sent home to the parents with a decision.
If a parent is not pleased with a decision they can arrange an appeal with the Superintendent for a final determination.
