Payschools Guide

Important Notes

  • NO Guest Checkout: If you attempt to check out as a guest, Sussex Tech will not appear in the list of available schools.
  • To make a payment for Sussex Tech, you must:
    • Register and create a new account, or
    • Log in to an existing account
  • Only after logging in or creating an account will you be able to select Sussex Tech and proceed with setting up your student and making your payment.

Setting Up a New Account

When registering a new account, you'll need to add your student during the setup process:

  1. The system will ask for the school and your student's ID.
  2. You can find your student's ID in the Genesis parent portal:
    • Go to the summary tab
    • The student ID is located at the top of the page

Adding a Student to an Existing Account

If you already have a PaySchools account and need to add another student:

  1. Log in to your PaySchools account
  2. On the right side of the page, click on "Your Students"
  3. Then click on "Add Students/Staff"
  4. Follow the prompts to add the new student

Multiple Students in Different Schools

PaySchools works by district, if a parent has a student(s) at different district, they will need two PaySchools Central Accounts. We advise that parents can use the same email address but add +1 for example: bsmith+1@gmail.com

  • This allows the parent to use the same email address and all communications flow to that email.
  • If a parent is switching schools, they can use an existing account by removing and adding a student from the dashboard.
