Program at a Glance
Sports Medicine will be a four-year, allied health-based program for students interested in pursuing careers such as athletic training, exercise physiology, physical fitness instruction, as well as other careers related to therapeutic rehabilitation.
The course includes theory and practical applications in the following areas: anatomy and physiology, study of human movement, first aid, CPR, emergency procedures, nutrition, medical terminology, and career exploration. Graduates of the Exercise Science program will possess the skills and competencies required for entry level employment as well as a foundation for pursuing post-secondary education.
