All juniors (Class of 2027) will participate in the state-mandated New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment from March 17–19 to meet high school graduation requirements.
Overview of Testing Dates
The NJGPA is a state graduation requirement for the Class of 2027. Students who do not pass may be required to take a non-credit remedial math and/or English course during their senior year.

Student Requirements & Reminders
To ensure a smooth testing environment, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Arrival: Arrive ON TIME (no later than 7:50 am). Late students will not be allowed to enter the classroom and must test during make-up days.

Equipment:

Bring your Chromebook fully charged.

Bring a set of wired headphones (no earbuds); one will be provided if you do not have them.

Prohibited Items: No electronics (other than school-issued Chromebooks) are allowed. Cell phones, smartwatches, and wireless earbuds must be left at home or in lockers.

Post-Testing: Bring a magazine or recreational reading book. No other materials are allowed. Students must remain silent until all testing is complete.

Preparation: Get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast.

IEP/504 Students: Individual testing accommodations will be provided as per your specific plan. Contact Guidance or the Child Study Team with questions.

Preparation: ELA and Math teachers are currently infusing test-taking skills into daily instruction.
