Today is an A Day. Be sure to follow the classes on your A Day schedule only.

 

Today is the National Honor Society's annual Costumes for Cancer.  Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to dress up in a school appropriate costume for $5. Wristbands may be purchased outside of junior cosmo in the morning before homeroom.  Please no masks or weapons. (10/31)

There will be a Yearbook meeting in room 507 on Thursday November 6th from 2:15 to 3:30pm. Please have a ride at 3:30 or check-in at the Student Center until 5:00pm. (11/3)

 

Get ready to showcase your talent!  Open Mic Night is coming up on Thursday, November 13th from 6 - 8 pm.  Whether you sing, play an instrument or perform poetry, the stage is yours. Join the Google Classroom (awt4g5r) to sign up using the registration form to reserve your spot. Don’t miss your chance to shine!  Not performing? Attention All Seniors: Please check your school email for an important email regarding information that is needed for the yearbook. This also includes voting for Senior Superlatives. Google forms are due by Monday November 10th.  (11/10)

 

Attention Winter Athletes:  Registration is currently open in the Genesis portal for boys’  and girls’ basketball, bowling and winter cheer.  Please be sure that your most recent physical exam has been completed and submitted to the athletic department.   (11/12)

 

Attention All Seniors:  We will be taking a Senior Class picture on Friday November 14th during Block 2. Please report to your Block 2 class first for attendance and then go immediately to the gym.  (11/14)

 

If you love to read and want to read a new and exciting book, join Ms. Re’s book club! Together, we will be reading the novel, “The Hate U Give” by Angie Thomas! Join the Google Classroom or stop by Ms. Re’s room, 501, to learn more! (11/14)

Winter cheer tryouts will be on 11/24 and 11/25 in the cafeteria from 2:15 to 4:15 p.m.  Please make sure you are registered through Genesis and have a valid physical on file.  (11/25)

 

Need a quiet place to study or help with homework and studying? After school help is now available to all students Monday through Thursday in the Media Center from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m.
